Steuben Glass : Colonnade : 1998
Colonnade is a large scaled architecturally inspired cast glass design 16" tall.
Optical reflections create the illusion of a colonnade or series of Doric columns receding into space. Ironically, the solid and inherently structural nature of a column is created by a void with the glass. The ironies and symbols embodied in this design make it an equally appropriate gift for the individual with a love of architecture or as symbol of achievement and stability.
