Baccarat : Directors Guild of America : Lifetime Acheivement Award

This special commision design was created for the Directors Guild of America and produced by Baccarat France.

As the Guilds highest honor, the piece symbolizes and captures the act of framing the cinematic image within the hands of the director. As voids within the glass the form of the hands frame the name of the recipient. The glass is cut to emphasize the 'eye' shaped section and frame the Guilds' gold medal.

At 16' high, this major cast glass design exemplifies Baccarats' ability to produce flawless works of crystal.
