Paramount Hotel : New York : 1991
The restoration of the 600 room Paramount Hotel, originally designed by Thomas Lamb in 1922, was completed over a two year period and involved extensive exterior and interior renovation including guest rooms, public spaces and facade. As a tour de force this full restoration, teamed Haigh Architects with Philippe Starck, Anda Andrei of the Schrager Hotel Group and a team of consultants including Fisher Marantz and Donald Kaufman.
The project was published extensively and recognized with the following accolades :
