Bernhardt : Opera seating : 1989

Designed to augment the Opus collections of seating for Bernhardt. Opera was designed as a platform to express the qualities of the Bernhardt collection of leather upholstery.

The single and two seat forms are scaled to offer comfort, formality and lightness for use in reception of conference applications. The seat forms stretch and drape the leather upholstery over preformed plywood structures. Each piece suggests intimacy and intrigue.
