Aperture is a pre-fabricated monocoque structure designed to frame views of the surrounding Icelandic landscape. Aperture explores the notion of the architectural frame to focus visitor experience on views that have already been experienced in the ascent of Hverfjall. Aperture was a shortlisted finalist from over 100 International entries.

The Hverfjall Visitors Center, Information Gallery, and LavaJava Coffee House is a 3D-printed structure designed to welcome visitors to Iceland's Hverfjall volcanic crater, the project is inspired by the morphology of the Hverfjall crater and surrounding Mývatn landscape, the structure is expressed as an undulating volcanic form.
